Hayes Centennial Tour Comes to Georgetown

The Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library marked it's 100th anniversary earlier this year, and in celebration of the milestone, the presidential couple is taking a tour of the country. Cutouts of the former president and first lady are on track to visit every presidential home or library before the year is out, including certain stops at first lady sites.

The president spent three days in Georgetown last week, and took time to visit Grant's Boyhood home and School. Long-time members Nancy and Ellen were there to welcome him, and grabbed a picture in the living room.

Keep track of the tour by visiting the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums on Facebook, and be sure to stay up to date on the U.S. Grant Boyhood Home & Schoolhouse Historic Sites as well.
