Ed Bearss will once again speak in the Gaslight Theatre, this year's topic being "Ulysses, from Cadet to General." Doors open at 12:30 for a half hour of period music by Deann Kelly, and the lecture begins at one. Admission is $10, and tickets can be bought by phone or at the door.
Edwin C. Bearss is a WWII combat veteran, former Chief Historian of the National Park Service, and most popular battlefield guide active today. Named Chief Historian Emeritus in 1995, his style is all his own, and similar tickets usually run into the hundreds of dollars.
